Can an iPhone be hacked without someone physically having it and does it sound like mine has been?
I got a text from cvs even though I hadn't been there. It said I could text stop if I didn't want updates from them so I did but now I'm worried that could've caused my phone to be hacked. I have all the apps I'm supposed to have still and I checked for the app Cydia because I heard hackers use it to jailbreak a phone and it wasn't there on my phone. Should I reset the phone or am I probably ok?
Yes iPhones can be hacked just like android phones with pictures-emails-apps-videos-links
It's much easier to exploit a jailbroken iPhone or android.
Cydia is for 3rd party apps on rooted devices, you physically need your device hooked up to a pc to root it.
It sounds like someone signed up for a trial-offer-registered at cvs and they used your number because it required a cell number… Since you reply'd stop to the text, you will no longer be alerted or notified of any offered-balanced-upcoming events
