Can Android or Iphone apps be compatible to the 3DS?

I think the title mostly says it but, Can a Nintendo 3DS play Android/Smartphone/Iphone apps? If so what type?

No. Every operating system, be it Android/Apple/Windows etc, each have their own way to program their apps/games. You can think of it as different languages. The iPhone won't understand what an Android app is, and vice versa. The Nintendo 3DS has its own language (for the sake of simplicity) for reading games.

But, Android phones ARE capable of playing some nintendo games. This is done through Emulators, and can be found in the google play app store. Have fun!

  • Should I sell my Nintendo 3DS for an Iphone 4? I've always been interested in Apple products. But I could never afford them. I've had my 3DS for a while now, and hardly every play it anymore. Do you guys think it's a good idea to sell it and buy an iphone 4 or 4S? I'm not into the 5 very much. And I don't see a difference between 4 and 4S besides the camera. Can somebody tell me whether I should sell it or not, and whether to get the 4 or 4S if i do?
  • Should I learn to make Android apps or Iphone apps? At first I wanted to learn to make Iphone apps, but I will have to go and buy me a mac, So I figured should I make Android apps since I already have a windows computer? And I'm learning java I know I could learn it on mac but I know my way around windows better. My question is what is better to learn to make Iphone apps or Android and why, witch makes the most money.

  • Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
