Can Apple (or anyone) extract photos from an iPhone without a screen or home button?

My phone is destroyed… My backups on my computer are gone… I had so many photos that mean so much to me that are gone, the last place they are is on my phone

The phone has no screen at all, but it still works because my computer recognizes it when plugged in… Can Apple just extract the photos from my phone at the Apple Store? What is preventing them from doing this… If not, can a third party do this with tools that Apple may not have? I'm willing to spend a decent amount of money I just want my pictures back

I have the same problem

I found a video online that showed holding down the power button and the home button and holding them until the screen went black and the apple logo appeared. Then, let go of the power button but keep the home button held down. Then, the video showed the phone letting you plug it in. On my phone, it asked for the passcode, but I plugged it in and then my phone appeared in "my computer" with "internal storage" and then "dcim" and then a folder with my photos! Thank you for your help! I hope this can help someone else retrieve photos with a broken screen too. Now, I can be annoyed that I have to pay so much to replace my phone, but at least I have my photos off of it.
