Can Apple TV work like a projector?

I want something to project (on my TV) what is on my computer screen and iPhone. I do a lot of presentations and show a lot of videos, it would be cool to show it right from my screen. I know you can use YouTube but most of my videos aren t on YouTube they are on another site.

So that is why Apple company developed AirPlay?
To project your video or music from iPhone to Apple TV, you can just click AirPlay in the control center. If you need to project the screen, switch on mirroring.
To project the video in your computer to Apple TV, you can install other software on your computer. Some paid ones like reflector or airserver, or some free ones like 5KPlayer can help you finish the job.

  • Where can I get a good projector? I want a projector so I can watch movies outside and project them onto the side of the house. I don't want it to be more than $100 and it would need to project a good distance. I was thinking if it hooks up to and iphone/iPad I could buy movies off of iTunes but I would prefer it to run on dvds. Any help finding one?
