Can I activate my old iPhone for Verizon even though it was originally an AT&T phone?
Added (1). I bought the phone for my att plan but I would like to give it to my mom who has Verizon. How do I set it up? She doesn't have a data plan but would like to be able to use it when connected to Wi-Fi and make calls normally
You'll need to get AT&T to unlock the phone, BUT, I don't know if it will work on Verizon as Verizon uses CDMA, while AT&T uses GSM.
Just so you know, all smart phones pretty much have to have a data plan; it's not optional.
- Will an unlocked iPhone originally from Sprint work on an AT&T go phone plan? I found one on eBay, and I'm gonna join the $25 AT&T go phone plan. It's an unlocked iPhone 5c, and it says its originally from sprint, but will work on any gsm network, which AT&T is. But will it work? Or would I be wasting $300?
- Phone apps aren't working even though I have Wi-Fi? I have an iPhone 5s and apps that use Wi-Fi like Facebook, instagram aren't working, I've reset my phone but that didn't help and I can't even reinstall the apps because I can't get a connection on the App Store, anyone know?
- My old iPhone 5c won't turn on even though it was working fine a month ago and has just been in a drawer since. How can I get it working? I upgraded my iPhone a month ago and have been experiencing problems so I need to get it fixed. It will be weeks until I get it back so I decided I d use my old iPhone 5c until then. But I can't turn it on, it was working fine last time I used it a mo th ago. I tried charging for hours and hours and holding sleep and home buttons etc and it still won't come on. My charger is fine. How can I turn it on?
- Is there a way I can switch to Verizon edge even though my 2-year contract isn't up? My poor iPhone 5c has a cracked screen and some of the letters are really hard to use with the screen! I never got Applecare or any type of I've had my iPhone for a 18months (1year & 5months) and I was wondering is it an option to upgrade early and participate with Verizon edge plan even though my two year contract isn't up? I've heard of something called the early edge and is that still available with Verizon or no? (Please NO RUDE COMMENTS!)
