Can I buy a used unlocked/jailbroken iphone from ebay and use it with virgin mobile?

I'm already a virgin mobile customer with a previous plan from 2011/12 I believe ($25 per month with 300mins/unlim text/data), do not have an SD card though I can probably buy one if one can be installed after use, and I'm wondering whether or not I could get a used and jailbroken iphone from ebay and hook it up to virgin mobile service.

No. This is impossible because unlocked phones can only be used with GSM providers, not CDMA providers like Virgin Mobile. This answer has been asked a lot of times and only Virgin Mobile phones can be used with Virgin Mobile.
