Can I buy an unlocked iPhone 5 in the USA?
Can you buy an iPhone 5 outright (unlocked/no contract) in the USA yet? I can't seem to find any prices except pay monthly on, for example, verizon.
And if so, does it work out significantly cheaper than buying for £529 in the UK considering the 8% tax or whatever it is in the USA?
Not yet. It will be eventually though. It is expected to start at prices of $649 USD. Sales taxes in the US vary from state to state. For example in Florida, its 6% & some others apparently have none.
- Where can you buy a iphone 4 with out contract in USA? (florida)? I'm from iceland but my dad is in the USA so he was going to buy one for me so where can you buy one with out contract? It doesent HAVE to be florida but its best if its there haha.
