Can I buy an unlocked iPhone 6 and put my iCloud back up onto it? Will that work?

So I have an iPhone 6 in black but would really like in the gold. I have heard people say they have just bought another phone when they break there's but I'm just worried it won't work. Do I need to put my old sim card in the new phone? Does it have to be unlocked, what does that mean?

If you put you old sim card in the new phone and put your iCloud backup onto it then it will all work fine

you should always get an unlocked phone if you can afford it

just make sure to remove you icloud from the old phone if you plan to give it to someone else or sell it as it will stay linked otherwise and that will be a problem.

Yes you would have to put your SIM in the new one of course, since that is where your phone number is stored.

No, it doesn't have to be unlocked. Can be or locked to the carrier you are with now. Unlocked means it is able to work with any GSM carrier in the world.

& of course you'd be able to do this. Not like iPhones are specific to 1 user & 1 user alone for life.

Yes it will work and if you need to have a good security app do install Leo Privacy Guard. It will Guard all your important applications by restricting its access over others.
