Can I buy the T-Mobile iPhone 5 for $99 if I'm not eligible for an upgrade?

I just want to know. Does my contract renew itself for another two years if I buy it at that price?

Yes you can get another phone like the iphone 5. However you would have 2 years to pay off the phone. How it works is you put down $100.00 dollars and then each month you pay a extra $20.00 on your contract plan (so add a extra $20.00) to pay off the phone for 2 years. After your contract is over, you can cancel your services with T-Mobile if you wish but you would still pay $20 each month until you pay off the phone.

So no your contract does not renew itself after it is over. You just have a 2 year phone contract (2 years to pay off the phone).

  • You are not eligible to create an Apple ID at this time? It's finally my 15th birthday and my parents got me an iPhone 6 (yay). I'm trying to create an Apple ID so that I can start downloading stuff from the App Store. I typed in all the details and checked (and double checked) but the message kept showing up. Could anyone please help me? [I don't know which category this fits in… So if I'm wrong… Sorry]
  • Will I be eligible for my upgrade through Verizon 1 day early? It will be easier for me to go to Verizon on a weekend day versus a weekday. AND, it's my birthday week, so I can finally get an iphone with worthy battery and actual sound. So I was wondering if Verizon would let me upgrade a day early without trying to sell me the edge plan bull.
  • Will I be eligible for an upgrade? So I purchased my iPhone 5s with a new contract and everything on my dad's plan in May of 2014, and I checked with ATT and it says I'm eligible for a upgrade if I trade in my device or pay the installment fee. I'm wondering if I trade in my iPhone 5s which has scratches and bents, but it fully works, will I be able to get an iPhone 6s?
  • What if it's too soon to be eligible for an upgrade on iphone? I want to get the new iphone 6, but I won't be eligible until January. If I decided to get the new one now, what will happen?
