Can I change my number over from iPhone 4s to HTC from sprint?

I recently have the iPhone 4s n I just bought the HTC off eBay. Can I call n get my number switched over to the HTC? Does it cost anything? I'm still in the middle of my 2 year contract With them. Also what if the recent owner hasn't cancelled the phone and it is still in his or own name. Would they still let me change it over?

You will need to go to the nearest sprint store to have them be able to do the job, but there may be a fee to transfer your number to the new phone
