Can I Connect An Unlocked IPhone 4S To MetroPCS?
So my mom is willing to buy me an unlocked IPhone 4S from the apple store but I want to know if I can connect it to Metro and still get everything or will it lock if I connect it to Metro?
MetroPCS is a CDMA carrier (for the most) which was recently bought by T-Mobile.
Unlocked phones concern GSM carriers, T-Mobile, AT&T among the most popular.
- Should I put my metroPCS 25$ sim card into an unlocked iphone? I got this metroPCS 25$ plan. They gave me a very bad (unlocked/sim card) phone with a sim card inside it. Second day, i put this sim card into another phone that was unlocked, called it and it worked. I'm planning on buying an unlocked iphone to take out my sim card out of my bad phone and put it inside the iphone. Please tell me if it is gonna work? Will i have problems with metroPCS? Will it work on other unlocked smartphones and so on.
- If I buy an iphone can metropcs service go on it? Right now I have metropcs service, and their phone. It kinda looks like a blackberry… But I really want an iphone… So my question is if I buy an iphone from best buy, then take it to metropcs, can they put the service on my phone?
- Factory Unlocked iPhone's for tMobile and MetroPCS? Hi, me and my sister want iPhone's for christmas but we have TMobile and Metro PCS, but we could get used Factory unlocked ones off of craigslist, right? Factory unlocked means that we can use TMobile or MetroPCS on an iphone, and also, would we still have all the features? Like be able to update our phone, and listen to music, and go on the internet? And if we update our phones with iTunes it won't take off the "factory unlock" correct?
