Can I connect my iPhone with another carrier?

IPhone 5s in silver, 16gb, I bought it a few months ago, about a month before summer. I bought it at Boost Mobile for 600 bucks because my mom doesn't like contracts so she just bought it and we're not on a contract. I really want a contract with AT&T but since my mom really saved up for this phone to make me happy, I want to connect this phone. Is it possible for me to take my iPhone and get a contract with AT&T?

btw if I can do this, how much would a plan be for unlimited data.

Likely not possible, since Boost Mobile (which operates through Sprint) is a CDMA carrier whereas AT&T is GSM, meaning they need SIM cards which Boost doesn't use (for calls/texts).

Though there's a chance it is since the 5s is a CDMA/GSM phone. AT&T like most other carriers eliminated unlimited data for years now.

  • If I buy an iphone used from another carrier ad buy a sim card from my carrier will that work? I have an iphone 4s with virgin mobile and I want an iphone 5 but all virgin mobile phones are so expensive! I looked on ebay for virgin mobile nano sim cards and they are only around 2 dollars. If I bought one of these sim cards and a used iphone 5 from another carrier would it work with my carrier?
  • Can you use an Iphone 4 *CDMA with another carrier? I have an Iphone 4 (not 4s) that is carrier locked and CDMA. I know I can unlock it, but will I be able to use another carrier seeing as I can't use a SIM card? If it makes any difference, it is an American phone that I'm unlocking for the Netherlands.

I recently bought the iPhone 5 under contract with Verizon but my mother disabled my phone and kicked me out so I wanted I know if you could buy on of those no contract sim cards from another carrier and put it in there? Because I really want to be ale to still use it:/
  • Can I use my blacklisted iPhone 4s on another Carrier? It is a at&t Carrier iPhone 4s. Its been blacklisted on the at&t network since I lost and assumed it was stolen. I wanted to know if I can jailbreak it and use it on another carrier such as virgin mobile? Or because its blacklisted with at&t can it never be used on a network agian?
