Can i control google chromecast using my ipad or iphone?
I read an article about it that says "The Google Chromecast is a dirt-cheap wireless video dongle that streams Netflix and YouTube to your TV using Android or iOS tablets as remotes".it doesn't say ipad or iphone as remotes and thats all i have. Should i not buy it?

The 2 biggest negatives I've read is that first of all it requires a power chord to plug in (did you notice how you never see that on any of the ads?). The other thing I heard is that it has alot of latency.

Iv been charging my iPad with my iPhone charger to charge my iPad as I thought there was no difference between them and I could keep the iPad charger as a spare if I miss placed my iPhone charger but I read up that using the wrong charger could mess up the battery if been using the iPhone charger since I have got it iv had it for 5 months from new but today it seem to be taken to long to charge I'm now using the charger that came with the iPad and see how that goes
