Can I get $300 off a new iphone 7 from tmobile if I trade in my iphone 5c?
I saw an advertisement saying that they'll take up to $300 off an iphone 7 if I trade in my old iphone. I have an old 5c with minor scratches.
Added (1). False! I went in yesterday and they sold me an iphone 7. They will be sending me a $300 t-mobile gift card in the mail for the trade in to compensate for the trade-in. Awesome deal.

It says Up to. Your iPhone 5c is not worth anywhere near $300. It is a nearly 4 year old phone.
You can trade it in, but just keep in mind that you won't be getting $300 off.

"Trade in" value is likely to be somewhere from a quarter to a half of whatever the phone would sell for on ebay in the condition it is in…
