Can I get a net 10 prepaid plan for my iPhone 3GS?
Yes I know my phone is old lol… My phone is not on a service and I don't have a SIM card in it… My phone is jail broken… So could I?
Well the question is, is your iPhone unlocked? If so, then it is a resounding yes, but I must warn you that Net 10's customer service is atrocious. If your iPhone is locked, get it unlocked by AT&T, or whatever service you had with it originally. There's another way not involving your current carrier, but it is technically illegal under DMCA.
So because it is a GSM phone (means it uses a SIM card, you are limited to prepaid services that are GSM based. I think that means, Straight Talk from Walmart, Net 10, Go phone or TRAC phonce (both thru AT&T), and maybe a couple of others. Do a search on GSM Prepaid Plans, and then check the reviews on those plans. Once you narrowed it down, make sure you check the coverage for your area to make sure you will get service. I have heard that TRAC phone and Go Phone have good service as they use AT&T towers, so the coverage is good. Good luck.
BTW- I'm using an IPhone 3GS for now and it is solid and functional. As long as it works, then that is what counts.
