Can I get an iPhone 4S and then cancel the data plan right after?
I want to get the iPhone 4S from Bell. It is $0 on a 3 year data plan. Can I just get the phone and then cancel the plan right after? The thing is, I don't want a data plan. I don't want to pay $650 for the phone itself either.
It will be an exit fee.
They normally give you 30 days to cancel, if you do you have to give the phone back.
You can do that, then you can pay the cancellation fee which will be more than the three years subscription on the phone.
Oh youre a GENIOUS! Why didn't anybody do that before? I tell you why - because it doesn't work! You could quit the data plan but then you had to pay a fee which is more than the phone costs without a data plan…
