Can I get my iPhone replaced by the Apple warranty?

Basically I dropped my iPhone and the only problem with it is that the phone won't pick up my carrier i.e. Vodafone, all it does in continuously say 'searching'. Everything else works. There's basically no cosmetic damage e.g. No cracks, splits or major scratches.
I was wondering if I took it to an apple store, would they be able to replace it for me? I done it before when the lock button broke and they replaced right there and then. I know it's my fault that I dropped it hence being my fault it's broke, but would I tell them I dropped it? Seen as though there are no signs what so ever that I have?

Have you took out the sim and put it back in? Turnt it on an off? I'd go to a Vodafone shop first because it's probably fixable there and then

You should be able to as long as long as its a internal problem

Provided that it is still within the 1 year when you purchased it yes, you should be able to get it fixed under warranty. Then again it could be a coincidence that you dropped your phone and the fault may be with vodafone themselves?

Not telling them that you dropped it is dishonest. Do you expect them to be responsible for YOUR abuse/negligence?

It is not covered under the standard warranty. If you purchased the extra warranty, it likely would be as they will fix/replace the phone so long as you can bring it in (if it is lost or stolen you are out of luck, but if it is dropped in the toilet or run over, etc. It is covered).

Basically, you want to commit fraud…

Choices

- pay for non-apple repairer (many on the web) to open it up and try to fix it
It is probably just that the aerial connector inside has jumped off - but you need special tools to get it open

- pay the out of warrenty repair cost (150 pounds approx + maybe more ) for apple to replace it

if you take it back and don't tell them, they may well replace it,
but may also bill you later (150 odd pounds) if they find evidence that it was mistreated (broken inside).

of course, if you had an insurance like protect my bubble…

  • When my iPhone 6 screen is replaced by apple, will the home button be replaced as well? Ever since I updated to iOS 9 on my iPhone 6, the home button has been totally unresponsive. On top of this, my phone was recently stepped on and the screen was shattered. I plan on paying the $109 to have the screen replaced from apple, but does that replace the home button too? I've heard that when the front screen panel is replaced, so is the home button/touch id.
  • When going to get my Iphone replaced, what do I need to bring to the Apple store? I got my iphone a little over two months ago and the ear speaker has stopped working properly. The phone is under my father's name, and he took it to fido to see what can be done and they said to take it to an apple store. I'm planning on going myself but since the phone isn't under my name, what do I need to bring with me?
  • Is there a way I can get my iPhone 4 replaced by apple? I have an iPhone 4 16gb, I have the apple care till next January. I really want to replace this iPhone and get a new one because I don't want to waste the warranty. I took it in and said it gets heated alot (which it does) but all they did is restored it.
