Can I get the light fixed on my iPhone screen, and if so where?

My iPhone fell down the loo, but I have dried it out for about three weeks and it works fine. The only problem is the screens light doesn't work so I can only see the screen slightly in bright lighting, can I get this fixed? If so where? And also how much, I live in London by the way if that helps and its a 3GS.

Settings> Brightness and wallpaper > Auto-Brightness OR move the tab left for a darker screen or right for brighter
