Can i get the new tmobile plan?

I have the unlock iphone 4 with the 2 year contract. I have 1 year remaining and the new tmobile deal seems appealing. Currently I only have 2g with 200mb of cap. I want unlimited and faster internet which the new plan have. Can I still switch over to the new plan?

what does it mean to add an extra line for 5 dollars for the family plan? Isn't that too cheap? Also is the talk really unlimited? Do they add tax because last time add a line for 10 dollar. My bill come out 20 dollar extra.

Unfortunately a unlocked iphone 4 will perform badly on t-mobiles network. You will not get 4G but you will still get 2g with the possibility of hopping on their hspa network for a maximum possibility of 4.4 mb download. Since you don't have a iPhone 4S or 5 you can't use their hspa+ network which is 4G so you are better off staying where you are unless you get a new iphone

Joshua really cuts to the heart of your problem here. What I think you should do is consider whether it is worth staying with your iphone 4, or moving onto a different phone with the other plan. By owning your phone, you are able to sell it and get another more compatible phone like the 4S, or another smartphone like an android or windows phone.

I'm not certain about this, but you can probably upgrade to the other plan right now and you will still have your remaining year on your contract. In regards to the $5 more to add an extra line in the family plan, that is $5 more you have to pay per month after the first 2 lines. So, the fee is $10 for the first line each month, plus $15 for each additional line each month on the basic plan.

Me, I might consider cutting your losses to get out of your current plan and look into a prepaid plan or something like Solavei's $49 unlimited talk/text/data plan that uses the T-Mobile network and provides 4G speeds if they are supported in your area and by your cell phone device. Yes, I'm a little biased since that is what I did when I got frustrated by the costs of the crazy share everything plan by Verizon. Yes, to abandon your T-Mobile contract, you will have to pay a fee, but you will be paying $6 less per month(if you are paying $55 right now), and will have all the data you can possibly cram into your iphone.
