No and no.

Verizon phones are *CDMA* devices, which are used in CDMA networks.AT&T uses GSM, a technology user all over the world, and that requires a SIM card in the phone. CDMA devices don't use SIM cards, and the two hardware types are not compatible. So you can't use the Verizon device (any Verizon device) on AT&T's network.

And I find it highly unlikely they would give you any kind of discount. You'd have to buy a new phone, and NO ONE discounts iPhones. As for a new user discount… Well, that's pretty funny.No, they won't.

If you have the iPhone 4S or 5, possibly. If you have any other iPhone, no.

The 2G-3GS are GSM only
The 4 is GSM or CDMA
The 4S & 5 are GSM/CDMA
