Can I place my iPhone 5 in a ZipLock bag?

I was wondering if I can put my phone in a ziplock bag. I don't need it to go in the water nor do I need it so I can go in the shower…
My screen shattered the day before yesterday and I fixed it at the Genius Bar yesterday. I'm planning to get a screen protector soon… But in the meantime, I wanted to put it in a ziplock bag so my screen won't scratch. I only have a case on it, but I don't want my screen to scratch in my purse or backpack. Will it be okay in a ziplock?

Yes your phone shall be fine in a ziplock bag but beware that you shall not be able to talk on the phone whilst it is put in it.

Since your planning to buy a screen protector i'd suggest you also get a flip case so this doubly protects your phone.

Yes! You can! Make a small hole with the punching machine and you are good to go. I don't use phone cases or cover. On a rainy day zip lock is what saves my phone!
