Can I plug my Audio Interface into an outlet?
Can I plug my Audio Interface into an outlet?
Added (1). I have a focusrite Scarlet 2i2 that I basically want to use as a DI box. Microphone in and quarter inch out. When I plug it into my computer, I can use the Direct Monitor switch and hear the mic without opening a DAW program like Logic. Is it safe to plug the USB plug into an outlet via an iPhone USB wall outlet instead of plugging it into the computer? I don't want to fry anything by giving the 2i2 too much power.
I doubt that it would work. While the interface might not need a DAW program, it does need the computer to control the sound card functions. The USB is a two-way serial data interface, and the card probably needs data from the computer in addition to 5 volts operating power.
- Will apple ever change their interface on ipad iPhone etc? Like the home screen do something different kinda like the samsung android where you can make your own home page move things around
- Type of outlet/cord I need to listen to audio from laptop to iPhone 7 plus? So as you may know, the iPhone7 and onward, have the lightning cable, which has a different mouth to it as well. I'm looking for something (a cord/adapter) in which I can use my iPhone ear buds and plug it into my laptop (which uses headphone jack outlet/mouth). Please give me your recommendations!
- Mercedes interface incompatible with iPhone 5? Bought a 2009 ml 350, it had the old iPhone 30 pin connector. Put on lighting adapter says it is incompatible, aux is not working
- IPhone rings, but doesn't show call interface? I have an iPhone 5s, iOS 8.2 Since a couple days ago, when people call me, my phone rings but I don't see the option to attend.Unless if I unlock it, and click on the top where there's a green banner. Then I could see it and attend Is there any way to fix this so I could normally attend calls again?
