Can I put food coloring in the back of my iPhone?
Is it safe? If I can't then what should I use?

Safe? It is safe for you, but will do nothing to the phone except add moisture where it does not need to be. It will not change the color of the phone case at all. If you bought a white one and now want a color, buy a case for it Ebay has them real cheap.
