Can I remove songs from iphone but keep them in iTunes?
I have an iphone and I wanna remove the songs from there, but can I still keep them in my iTunes on my laptop?
If they are already in your iTunes yes they will stay there
If they are already on your iTunes on your computer then you can delete them off your phone & they'll stay on iTunes. You can delete them off of your phone by sliding the desired song to delete to the right & a red delete button will show & you select to delete & it will only remove from your phone; however, it will stay on iTunes unless you delete it from your computer then it will be gone from both.
I would have said the same thing as "Katy", but if you delete it and then plug it back into your computer, sync it, it will be back on you iphone.
If you are deleting a song from a playlist, same thing will happen. It will be gone but once you sync it with your computer, it will be back in the same playlist. In this case you would need to delete the song from the playlist on your computer.
But if you delete a song by sliding to the right and pressing delete, it will stay on itunes, just not on your iphone (obviously)
- Two songs are stuck on my iPhone as alarm choices. How do I remove/replace them from that list? So I would appear to have a limit of 5 songs to choose from on this list. I see no way to directly delete songs. The list is full and when I add a song the song at the top of the list is bumped off. But that doesn't work for getting the song choice the iPhone already had on there* or the first song I selected for the list off of the list. Why? Can they be removed and if so how? *Apparently my alphabetically first song bought from iTunes
- If I download songs to my IPhone and uninstall them, do I have to buy them again? The problem is I bought some songs but now I want to delete them so I can put some fresh new songs but I still want the songs for my IPod. So if I delete them from my IPhone, will I have to buy them again? More information will be added if needed, thanks in advance, hope I explained it right.
- ICloud greyed out some itunes songs & I can't download them? My iCould has downloaded some of my songs successfully onto iTunes & my new iPhone but there's a few albums and a couple of songs that have been greyed out and I can't download or even play them? They were bought through iTunes just like the rest so I don't understand why they can't be downloaded too. Hope you can help!
- I can't see my pictures on my iPhone but I know they're there but where and how can I get them back? I was seeing if I could turn on my iCloud Photo Library but it said my photos took up 7.32 GB. My photos stopped showing up in my camera roll 2 weeks ago and I had the same amount of pictures but it took up only 6 GB. I took a lot of pictures them checked to see how much space they took up and it said 7.45 GB. I came to the conclusion that my phones saving them I just don't have access to them. Where'd they go? Why can't I access them?
