Can I renew my Verizon contract?
My upgrade for my 2 year agreement was 02/09/2013. I had a basic iPhone 4 and upgraded to a Droid DNA. Recently my father needed a new phone and so I ended up giving him my Droid DNA and using the iPhone 4 again. Recently I have dropped my iPhone and its not just functioning like it was 2 and a half years ago when it was new. Is there anyway I could renew the contract to get a new iPhone? Or any cheap way of getting a new iPhone5 or 5s? I'm in really need of a new phone.
Unless you qualify for an upgrade you'll have to pay full price for a new phone.
You could buy an older used phone for less.
- When i get an upgrade with at&t does that mean i renew my contract aswell? My contract has been over since may 2013 i'm up for an upgrade in september 2013 is there a way i can get the iphone 5 for the contract price then cancel my contract? I'm really CONFUSED.

- Does jailbreaking my iphone 4 on a verizon contract void that contract? If i jailbreak my iphone 4gs does it change my verizon plan so i pay more or get taken off the contract/family plan thing or the data pool i'm currently in? I want to jailbreak my phone and i'll probably test it out with my ipod first but i would really like to know this. I do already know that it voids warrenty but i'm not worried about that. Thanks!
- Do I have to renew my contract? I'm a Verizon customer and I saw that the iPhone 5 was coming out. My contract with Verizon is not up until this coming spring or summer and I really need smartphone for school as I'm in college. Verizon is charging an arm and a leg for iPhones, but Apple is asking $299+ for the one I want. My question is, is this price of $299 one that requires me to get a new contract with Verizon? Or is it the price of the phone apart from shipping?
