Can I restore my iPhone from iTunes after jailbreaking?
I have a jailbroken iPhone 4s running ios 5.1.1. I want to upgrade to ios 6.1 and jailbreak right after.
I have backed up my iPhone right now, with cydia, installous and all my tweaks still on the phone.
My question is, after upgrading to ios 6.1 can I restore my phone to the latest backup in iTunes?
My process would be this:
-restore iphone via iTunes
-download and update iPhone to ios 6.1
-jailbreak ios 6.1
-restore in iTunes via the backup I mentioned from earlier today.
Would restoring via my backup create a problem with the phone?
Is there a better proces than this?
It will work fine just make sure not to use a password on the backup and while jailbreaking iOS 6.1 make sure you don't have password enabled too.
