Can i restore my iphone4 on itunes while off?
My iphone4 the other night just shut off and my power button doesn't work anymore. I was just wondering if i can plug my iphone into my laptop and restore it with itunes while my phone is shut off.
When you mean off if you mean that it is shut down you can't. If your button doesn't work i would suggest taking it to apple.
- When you restore an iphone from itunes backup does it restore messages? I need to restore my iPhone 4S in iTunes, will I lose my messages or will it leave the messages from my most recent back up?
- My iphone4 keeps turning off? I dropped my iphone when i was riding my bike but there was no cracks or anything. Ever since then if it hits something lightly or i throw it on to my bed it turns off. Is it an easy fix or will i have to send it in

- Iphone4 shut off & won't power back on? I've had my iPhone 4 for 2 years its slightly… Very slightly cracked. I haven't had an issue with it until today i was in mid text & a weird screen popped up with lines of different colors… It shut off and hasn't turned on since I've tried holding the home button until the apple icon shows as well as plugging it into a CPU. It didn't even read my device.
