Can I retrieve photos from my iphone if it has no battery?

My battery has disconnected from my phone, when I plug my charger in the apple screen comes up and it stays like that. Is there anyway I can access my photos by using itunes?
Or, is there any other way to get to them i've lost 3 years of photos.

If they are already backed up on iTunes or you have activated and use iCloud as a backup. But with it stuck on the white Apple you need to find a way to boot the phone without restoring it. The boot cycle on the phone isn't functioning properly. Unless you physically took the battery out, then it probably isn't the issue.

Find a way to get power back to the phone, or somehow extract the data storage from the phone.
Both are complicated and you most likely won't be able to do it on your own.

Daniel's answer is incorrect. 98% of the time there's a way to recover data from an iPhone that will not power up. In this situation, if you are tech savvy, you can attempt to open the phone, pull the NAND chip and dump the data from there. This can be complicated but CAN be done. I would recommend you send it to a professional recovery service. Try these guys out: http://www.eprovided.com/digital-image-recovery.html. They have the lowest basic recovery rates I was able to find.
