Can I revive my bricked Iphone?
Ever since it became 'bricked' from the oh-so-wonderful ios 7.0.6 update my iphone won't charge nor turn on. I've tried DFU- it worked up until the end of the restoration process - the phone still wouldn't work.
My warranty has expired, what should I do? Is it still applicable for service or replacement since this is somehow Apple's fault? I've always backed up my data but the issue is the phone itself - won't charge, won't restart/turn on.
Added (1). I've never jailbroken my iphone.
Try another computer. If that doesn't work then you should not of jailbroken it before updating.
- My bricked iPhone won't support a charge. It was previously non-tetheredly jailbroken? It's a 16gb iPhone 3gs. I jailbroke it but it was untethered so it became bricked. It started with not charging on the computer and then not charging on the wall charger and then eventually not holding a charge.
- Just Registered my UDID so does that mean my iPhone can't get bricked? Just registered my UDID but i do not have a dev account. Does this mean I can update through all the Beta's and Apple will not brick me? And when the final version is released I can upgrade right to that also?
- IPhone 4 is it bricked or just the battery? Okay so i dropped my iphone 4 in the sink by accident for like 10 seconds and now i tried to restore by using tinyumbrella and now the apple logo appears (no longer in recovery mode) but like 5 seconds after the apple logo appears and then fades and it does that process the whole doesn't it get past it so is it a dead battery or is it completely gone iphone 4?
- Iphone 3gs is bricked and the power button is broken, what do I do? I went to check on my iphone and it a black screen so II tried to turn it on but it wouldn't work. (IT WAS 100% Charged!) So I researched what could of happened and apparently it is bricked and I would have to get it into recovery mode, BUT I can't! My power button is broken. Info: It is charged It dosen't respond to itunes.
