Can I sell my iPhone to someone else?
I recently purchased the iPhone 5c from sprint and the owner of the account closet account so I'm left with just the phone. Can I sell this phone to someone or do I have to return it to the sprint store?
You can keep the phone. However just make sure that the phone has a clean ESN number. If the owner closed the account and didn't not pay the entire balance on the account then the phones on the account might have a bad ESN. A bad ESN means that the cell phone can no longer be activated again. If you gave or sold that cell phone to another person, he or she can't activate that phone. A good ESN number means that cell phone can be activated again since you on the account and if the owner paid the entire balance on the account.
So I would contact Sprint first and asked to check to see if your cell phone has a good ESN number or bad ESN number.
- Using someone else's Wi-Fi on iphone, can they still see your app history? Yesterday I went to work with my friend and I used the places' Wi-Fi, I'm at home right now and no longer using their Wi-Fi, can they track my history and app history in my iphone even if I'm not using their Wi-Fi anymore?
- Is there a way I can use an iPhone that's logged onto someone else's iCloud? I recently found an iPhone 5s out in the street perfectly fine but it's logged into the owners iCloud and in order for me to restart it I have to put in that persons password and I've been told that there's no way for me remove that account. So I was wondering if anyone knows if it's safe to use it like that and just add another account or if I can use it some other way?
- If I buy an iPhone from someone's else, can they still report it stolen after I've already activated it? For example: if I buy a phone from a girl on Facebook, then go to T-Mobile and it's clean, not iCloud locked, not stolen, ready to be activated. Then I activate it. Can that person then report it? Even after it's already set up with T-Mobile as active
- How to clear someone someone else's iCloud info off my Iphone 5? I got a used iPhone but the previous owner didn't wipe the phone and it still has all of his data on it. When I try to log off his iCloud or reset the phone it asks for his iCloud password. Is there a way to do this without his password? It's my brother's boss's old phone so I feel a little weird asking for his password.
