Can I send text messages to someone with iMessage?
I don't have an iPhone or Apple device, but my friend does. He suggested staying connected with iMessage. Will my regular SMS messages go to him as just plain texts, or will they show up in iMessage, and vice versa for me?
IMessage and SMS in the iPhone are joined together. The only difference for your friend is that he or she would have to pay for a regular SMS, and you can't message him an I message because you don't have an iDevice.
- Why is my iPhone5 sending some messages as iMessage and others as Text Messages? I understand that messages are sent as Text Messages when there's no signal or poor Wi-Fi connection. However, I'm successfully texting some people using iMessage but others (still iPhone users) as Text messages. The other person will send iMessages and then my responses will be sent as green Text Messages.

At random times, whenever I try to iMessage my friend who has just a iPod Touch, where you type in the message will say "Text Message" instead of "iMessage." is there a way to fix this so it will always send as a iMessage instead of Text?
- I CAN't Receive OR SEND MESSAGES WITH AN IMESSAGE EMAIL? I have an iPhone 4s which already has iMessage but I added an email and it says I can be reached at the email and my phone number. I've asked my sister to text the email address but I don't receive them? I can't send them from the email address either? I need help with this.
