Can I some how view my sons text messages?

First off I'm on a plan with AT&T and it is just my son and I on the plan. So last week I came home from work and I swear I smelled some weed. I also found a lighter on topic his bed (what a dumba$$) I wanna know if he smokes weed, so I figured a good place to look was his text messages. He has a iPhone 5, Can I view his messages without actually looking through his phone? If so, how?

If you have a mac, you can connect his phone on there to imessage and you can read all his messages without him knowing. Or just say that you are starting to do a routine check and tell him to give you the passcode or you will shut of the phone forever. Or just search his room while hes gone. You can also find out by putting cameras all over the house to see if he does.

Maybe he found your stash!

I would call At&t if you can see record of the texts.
I do not know if they keep record of it but worth a try.
I also search room when not round. Check every where. Pull out every draw
in his room. Because kids hide drugs behind them.

I'm sure there's some way that you can contact your service provider and ask them how to view the message history for that phone. But if you are going to do that, you might as well just look through his phone. In my opinion you have the right. He is under age, you are the parent, and you are the one paying for the service.

If he is under 18 and living in your house why just give him an in home drug test? You can pick them up at your local drug store or pharmacy.

  • Why is my iPhone5 sending some messages as iMessage and others as Text Messages? I understand that messages are sent as Text Messages when there's no signal or poor Wi-Fi connection. However, I'm successfully texting some people using iMessage but others (still iPhone users) as Text messages. The other person will send iMessages and then my responses will be sent as green Text Messages.
  • Why can't I get my sons texts? My son has an android phone (not sure which brand) and I have an iPhone 5, I can't receive his texts, I used to be able to but a month or two ago I couldn t anymore, why would this be? My wife and daughter have the same phone as my son and I receive their texts just fine. Any thoughts I why all of a sudden I can't get my sons texts?
  • View old iphone text messages on computer? So there's a specific set of messages from October 2012 i want to read between my current boyfriend and I. He had an iphone and I had a regular non-smartphone type phone, so they were texts, not imessages. A few months back he switched mobile carriers and pawned his iPhone, so we don't have the phone, Is there any way to find the messages, using his apple ID or anything like that?
