Can I still upgrade?
Today while shopping I lost my phone, I don't know where. I have insurance with att, and I'm filing a claim. However November 20th, I have an upgrade and have been planning on using that for a new iPhone, with they still let me?
I upgrade yearly with Verizon, and I'm getting my iPhone X tomorrow!
Ask them since I do not know who THEY are
Yes, making an insurance claim does not change anything else. Your contract remains the same, your upgrade date remains the same, any amount you may owe on the lost phone remains the same. You will also pay (at least) $100 for the new phone as an insurance deductible.
I have had to make insurance claims on 2 phones, both through AT&T.
Ask THEM!
If your upgrade requires a trade-in, yes you'll need to follow through with the insurance claim and get a phone in your hands. And after that, you can take advantage of the upgrade. The fact that you just got the phone through insurance won't make a difference, you've been paying for it for (I presume) a year and a half already.
- When I upgrade my iPhone, can I upgrade to the same phone? I have the iPhone 4S and my upgrade is soon, but I don't want the iPhone 5. And I have some little cracks and my speakers are weird. So when my upgrade comes can I just get the same phone that I have now?
- What is the different between full upgrade and early upgrade? So AT&T said I qualify for a early upgrade on my iPhone now but I quality for a full iPhone upgrade in october. What is the difference?
- Lost iphone 4, can I still upgrade? I was going to hang on to my iphone 4 until the iphone 5 came out, which I would be recieving as a free upgrade.but… I lost my iphone 4 last night. So my question is: do I need to physically have the iphone 4 in my hands to get the upgrade? Or can they just look it up in their system and see that I'm eligible?
- I can i still upgrade my iphone even if its jailbroken? I want to jailbreak my phone but i'm afriad if i jailbreak my phone i can't upgrade to the iphone 4s
