Can I switch an Iphone from C Spire to AT&T?
I bought Iphone 4s from an individual. He used C Spire and I use AT&T. What do I need to do to get C Spire off the phone. I know I have to take sim in to AT&Tto make it work but do I need to deactivate C Spire first?
C spire is a CDMA network that does not use sim cards. However, the phone may be locked and you may not be able to use it with a GSM carrier until it's unlocked. You're only going to find out by putting a sim card into tne phone and seeing whether it works. If it doesn't, it's likely that only C spire would be able to unlock the phone and it's doubtful that they would. Also, since that "individual" probably did not complete his contract with C spire, the phone can't be used with C spire.
- Would I be able to switch carriers without having to switch phones? I'm with Consumer Cellular and I have an iPhone SE, but I'm thinking of switching carriers so that I can get unlimited data. I don't want to get a new phone because I've had my current one about six months, I really like it, and it works great. I'm not locked into a contract with Consumer Cellular. Would I be able to switch to another carrier without having to purchase a new phone?
- Will a iphone 4 Verizon replacement screen kit fit a c spire iphone 4? I just cracked the front screen on my iphone 4 and instead of paying big bucks to cspire to replace it for me, i'm trying to buy a replacement kit off amazon. However, the replacement kits on amazon say that they "only fit Verizon/AT&T/Sprint iphone 4's" but aren't all iphone 4's made the same though? So i'm wondering if "Verizon/AT&T/Sprint iphone 4 replacement kits" will fit a cspire iphone 4.
- If I get a iPhone 4S from c spire, does automatically give me iOS 7? I'm getting an iPhone 4S next month and I don't want ios 7. Will it automatically set up with ios 7?
