Can I switch Verizon accounts without a fee?
I want an iPhone 4 or 4S for my birthday. My parents won't pay for the plan, though I said I would get a job and pay for the plan, but they said that was bull***. My grandma, on the other hand, said she would pay for the plan until I could help pay it for my birthday. They have different accounts after that, and I wanted to know if I could change to hers without a fee.
If your phone is under contract, then it will be termination fee depending on how much longer you are under contract with Verizon. If no contract, no fee.
However, iPhone's require a Data Plan and depending on your grandma's carrier, most do not offer unlimited plans, so if you want to surf the web, expect to pay over 100.00 a month for the phone line. Actual price depends on the plan.
- Would I be able to switch carriers without having to switch phones? I'm with Consumer Cellular and I have an iPhone SE, but I'm thinking of switching carriers so that I can get unlimited data. I don't want to get a new phone because I've had my current one about six months, I really like it, and it works great. I'm not locked into a contract with Consumer Cellular. Would I be able to switch to another carrier without having to purchase a new phone?
- Verizon Wireless Termination Fee? I was planning on canceling my plan with verizon wireless. The termination fee is "$175, or $350 if you purchased an Advanced Device". I have two iphones and two regular phones with my plan. Does this mean I have to pay to terminate each phone plan separately or will it be a total of $350 dollars because I own an advanced device?
- Verizon upgrade fee? Can I pay at the store or do I have to pay it the next bill? I plan on upgrading my phone and renewing my contract next month in January. I plan on getting the iPhone 5s. I'm on this family plan with one line. Is there's an activation fee that I have to pay? Can I pay the upgrade fee at the store while purchasing the new phone? Or do I have to pay it on the next bill?
- Verizon early termination fee? I want to get out of my plan on verizon… There are multiple phones on the plan but I just want to disconnect 1. What is the early termination fee iv'e heard of. I also heard about the advanced devices situation. I have a iphone 4 if it matters? Thanks! Btw: my contract is up this august or october i believe.
