Can I take my lifeproof case into the ocean?

I have recently purchased a life proof case for my iPhone 4. I'm not sure if I could take it into the oceans or not. I would like to take it into the ocean as I snorkel a lot and would love to take pictures of all the wonderful fish and corals. Thank you very much. Please do not lie because that could potentially wreck my phone. Thanks

Added (1). It didn't say anything about the ocean on the box. Maybe if other people have done it in the ocean if they could please let me know

You bought the case, right? Doesn't it tell you how it can be used?

If applied to your iphone correctly, life proof are supposed to be waterproof up to 7ft. I wouldn't recommend it.

No. Lifeproof despite all the "features" can easily get water in it. The water seal can be broken as easy as dropping it on a counter. Imagine what an oceans waves would do to it. Now if its just going to be on-shore then its fine as long as you place it screen down. The glare from the sun will burn the pixels in the screen. I wouldn't even trust a lifeproof case in a 1 foot pool.

My lifeproof case failed on me, so no.
