Can I transfer my iphone 5c sims card into another iphone 5c?
I cracked my IPhone 5c the other day and I was wondering if I could transfer my information to my mom's old Iphone 5c. She upgraded from her iphone 5c to a 6s and she still owns the old iphone 5c. Her old iphone 5c is not activated but works as an ipod touch. Could I transfer my sims card into the deactivated iphone and actitivate it? This is just to avoid the cracked screen and the phones are from the same carrier
Ya as long as its the same carrier
Yes you can. However, Apple do not store any details to the sim card so you would have to log in to iCloud on the phone with the same as your last one to recover everything. Or you can restore from iTunes if you have ever backed your last phone up to it. Only hurdle you have to overcome is whether or not the phone is locked to a certain network… As you would have to get them to unlock it if you were on a different provider to the original network.
