Can I transfer pictures from my computer to iphone 5 without using iTunes?
I can't download iTunes onto my computer. It's too old and too many error messages downloading it on windows xp. I have a bunch of pictures I want on my iphone 5… Backed up from my old droid phone. Is there a way around iTunes? Plus can I put music onto my phone from computer to iphone without iTunes? This is the only thing I hate about iPhones. You have to use iTunes for everything!
What i do is log into my Email on my iphone. Then on my computer i go to my Email and attach some photos and send it to my email. Log onto your email on your iphone and you will be able to view and save the pictures. It works both ways

But anyways, yes there are other ways. Specifically, email them to yourself or upload them to an online service (Facebook, Dropbox, etc.) from your old phone and then you can access them on your iPhone
