Can I turn a Verizon IPhone 4 into a prepaid net10 phone?
I have an IPhone 4 that I once had for Verizon but now that my contract ended I got Net 10 instead. Can I use my iPhone for this prepaid network instead of buying a new one?
The Verizon iPhone 4 is a CDMA phone, and can't be switched to Net 10 because of its lack of a micro Sim Tray. I would suggest selling your phone and buying a GSM AT&T iPhone 4 (unlocked) or an unlocked iPhone 4S. I believe an unlocked iPhone 5 or iPhone 5S (when it's released) will work with Net 10.

- Can verizon iPhone 4 be used as a prepaid verizon phone? I have an iPhone 4 that was on my contract. I'm getting a new phone soon so I'm selling my phone to a friend but he wants to use it as a prepaid phone on verizon. It seems to me it wouldn't make a difference whether or not it was originally prepaid or not, but I as wondering if anyone knew the answer. Can a old contract phone be used as a prepaid phone?
