Can i turn my old iPhone 4 into a DVR? There must be a way
I just purchased an iPhone 5 and that leaves me with a perfectly fine iPhone 4.It has plenty of memory and processing power. I'm looking for alternate uses. I've been using it as a Roku remote but that isn't really using it to the full potential.
No. It has no A/V inputs, and for video its storage is paltry.
I would use it as an alarm clock radio/weather station.

- Is there any way i can get my old iphone backups? So i just got the beta for IOS7 and i went back to ios 6. I backed up my phone before i downloaded ios7.So now that i went back to ios 6 everything is gone. The phone was set to a new phone and i lost everything. I tried backing it up but it said that i needed ios7 to back it up. Then i accidentally backed my phone up and it deleted the old back ups. Is there any way i can get my old back ups? I know how to find them kind of but i don't know how to sync them back into itunes or my phone.
- Is there a way you can see old messages on the iPhone from over 6 months ago? I text my girlfriend every day and we want to see our first ever conversation, but that would take too long to scroll up all the way. I have an iMac and we text over iMessage. Is there any apps or strategies to use to quickly scroll up?
