Can i update my jailbreak iphone to ios 7

I'm really tired of having my phone jail break is there something i can do? To update it? I'm scared it will get messed up.

If you would like to only remove the jailbreak then you can do it without messing anything up. Go to iTunes and connect your iPhone, When you see your iPhone pop up right click it on the left sidebar and click "back up". Wait for it to back up. Copy your pictures using iPhoto or using USB if you're on windows. Make sure to back up your contacts too!
Then afterwards you can click on "restore iPhone" And itunes will restore it for you to the SAME firmware.

When you have a jailbroken device, You HAVE TO RESTORE IT! If you update it then your iPhone will not be able to be jailbroken again for a while!

So what you do is after downloading IOS 7 from http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/
You place it on your desktop ( for easy access ) and go to iTunes and HOLD shift ( For windows. And hold "Option" key on MAC ) And click restore, A window will pop up and goto your desktop and choose your IOS that you downloaded from http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/.

  • Will I lose my jailbreak and how come I can't update to ios 6? My iPhone 4 is factory unlocked and it's jailbroken. I tried to update to ios 6 but it pops up saying error occur and it pops up to click close or settings. It didn't say anything about what's the error. So it won't let me complete the update.

  • IOS 7 UPDATE: Can I still update my unlocked iPhone? So I went to a friends phone retail store he unlocked my iPhone through a company wich gives u the code to unlock and then he connected it wit Net10 (AT&T). Pretty sure it was a legal unlock MY QUESTION IS: can I still update my iPhone 4S to IOS 7 even though my iPhone is unlocked? Because if I do I'm worried my carrier settings wuld erase and I wouldn't have a line with Net10 any more.
