Can I update my jailbroken iphone on iOS 8.1.2 to iOS 8.3 without restoring?
I was hoping to update my iPhone 6 via iTunes from iOS 8.1.2 (jailbroken) to iOS 8.3 without doing a restore. I wanted to know if this is safe or will it mess up my phone in any way?
Updating you iphone directly will be problematic. You will have to restore and update each time if your device is jailbroken. This is because jailbreak modifies a few internal settings.
