Can i use a iphone with another phone company?
So for example if i buy and iphone 5s from verizon if i take out the sim card and put a at&t simcard in it could i use the company instead.
If the phone is unlocked, then yes.
And if I remember correctly, Verizon iPhones have their GSM portion unlocked.
You can try this by using a Nano Sim. If you can make and receive calls, then it works.
Now, if you still have a contract with Verizon, or have it financed, you still need to pay them or else…
In theory yes, but of course that doesn't mean the Verizon bill would go away.
Usually though the phone is locked so it would have to be unlocked before trying to do that but the iPhone is sold unlocked (unless that has since changed) from Verizon & also is a GSM/CDMA phone (which normally would make what you are asking impossible)
- Trading-in my water damaged phone to a phone company. Can they see my personal data? So i'm trading in my iPhone 6 for a newer version as it is water damaged (it won't turn on or anything) and my phone company said that they can recycle it. Does this mean that once they get it working, they will see all of my personal information, including photos, contacts etc? I've taken the SIM card out but I'm not sure what this contains.
- If I buy an at&t iphone can I flash it to another company? I bought an at&t iphone and I want to flash it to another company. I think I read that I can't flash it to sprint, Verizon, or Cricket. But can I flash it to T mobile or the walmart plans? (Family mobile) What can I do?
- Can you switch iphones (company) for another? I have an iphone 4s on verizon, but I need one on att. Can I go to the apple store or best buy somewhere to get it switched?
- Can i use Wi-Fi on my iphone even if its not registered on a phone company? Like if its not in service or under contract it has nothing to do with the phone company or i don't pay phone bills can i still use the Wi-Fi
