Can I use a O2 sim in a vodaphone iPhone?
I'm buying an iPhone 4S and the person using it was with vodaphone. The problem is I'm with O2 and I was wondering could I unlock it for free with a jailbreak or something?

Jailbreak will never unlock your Iphone it merely helps you to access other party applications… If you wanna use other carriers in your Iphone you need to get unlocking service from any vendors online and iim afraid you can't unlock Iphones for free but you can remote unlock your Iphone from Unlocking4u.com at cheap cost
First off jailbreaking is just to strip down the security to allow unsigned apps. To unlock the sim in the 4s you will need to hackivate it using red snow or something like that. At the moment 6.1.3 is "unbreakable" so if that is your firmware bad luck.
I believe sites like the ones somebody else provided will just hackivate the iPhone which is easy to do yourself.
