Can I use a Sprint iPhone 4S on virgin mobile?

I recently just switched to T-Mobile and wanted to know if I can give my sister my 4S. She uses Virgin mobile and they run on the Sprint network. I called up customer care and they are telling me that it can't happen. I'm sure there's a way but I could be wrong. Someone please help.

No. You can only use Virgin Mobile phones with Virgin Mobile.

NO! There's absolutely NO way! Virgin Mobile USA is a CDMA carrier. CDMA means that only Virgin Mobile USA phones can work on Virgin Mobile USA's network. Just as NO other carrier's phones are allowed on Virgin Mobile USA, all Virgin Mobile USA branded phones on Virgin Mobile USA's network can never be taken off of Virgin's network.

Go to the Virgin Mobile USA Facebook page or Twitter page and ask them - they'll tell you the same exact thing.
