Can I use a Verizon-built iPhone on AT&T?
Just got an unlocked iPhone 4 built to the Verizon specs thinking I would be switching to Verizon. Now I might be sticking with AT&T, so I'm wondering if I can stick a SIM card in it and use it? Also, might I be able to do the same thing in Europe on the Orange network?
I'm no expert on this, but AT&T is a completely different network than Verizon… I think it's called GMA… I can't remember. All I know is that when I was looking for an unlocked phone, (I have Tmobile) that I had to find either an AT&T or a Tmobile one, because they use the same network. Verizon, Sprint, and the other ones use a different network. Long story short, no, I don't think it'd work. As for the second half of your questions, my apologies, I don't know.
Maybe, AT&T is a GSM network while Verizon is a CDMA network. You can, if your Verizon iPhone is both GSM & CDMA, I don't believe it is, does it has a SIM card slot for a GSM SIM card.
- Why does my voice sound different on a Blue Snowball vs an IPhone built-in microphone? My voice on the iPhone mic sounds more light and agile, but on the Blue Snowball it sounds deep and heavy. I haven't adjusted settings for the Snowball yet, but should I? Is the iPhone mic true enough to trust as my standard?
- What iphone cases have a built in screen protector? I'm looking for a new case for my iphone 4s i want it to have a built in screen protector. I currently use the otterbox defender but its just too bulky.
- What are some good dual layer IPhone 5s cases WITH NO BUILT IN SCREEN PROTECTOR? I have an Iphone 5s with a professionally installed Zagg Invisishield. I'm looking for a good protective dual-layer case (i.e. Rubber layer and plastic layer) but I don't want a case with a built in screen protector like Otter Box and Lifeproof cases have. I know I could just take the built in protectors off but I would like to stay away from that. Any suggestions?
- Is there an iPhone calculator app with a built in add tax button? On my iPad i have an app called calculator HD -prettycalc that has a button where I can add tax to an any total I compute or put in via one button press (able to set the tax rate in the settings). I find this much easier than multiplying any total by my tax rate and then trying to remember the total to add it back on to.So, does anyone know of a iPhone calculator app that has this?
