Can I use a verizon iPhone with a bad esn on at&t?
I think yes
Nope
A bad ESN means that the phone is lost/stolen or not payed off. Most, if not all major cell providers have a blacklist of IMEIs so that they don't allow blacklisted devices on their services. So it is quite likely that your phone won't work.
What model? Not that it matters, as the phone will be blacklisted anyway, but older iPhones with an ESN would be CDMA models, and they won't work on a GSM network no matter what.
No you can't use a phone with a bad esn in the United States, if you move to Canada or anywhere else, then yes you can
Lol you want a stolen phone
- Verizon iPhone 5 comes gsm unlocked so if the esn is bad can you still use gsm? I was wondering sense the iPhone 5 for Verizon come GSM unlocked, if the ESN is bad can it still be used with GSM networks? Please let me know thanks
- Is buying a iPhone with Bad ESN bad? I want to buy an iPhone 4 or 4s but it says bad esn. I'm not going to activate the phone to any provider. I just want it for Wi-Fi for home use. Is it bad to buy it or okay?
- How to use a bad esn verizon iphone 4 as an ipod touch? I bought a bad esn verizon iphone 4 to use it as an ipod touch. The iphone doesn't have any locks on it. The seller said that I just have to put the airplane mode on and turn on my Wi-Fi. But is there another way besides having to put the airplane mode on?
- Does a bad esn in America still be a bad esn in places such as Canada? If I buy an iPhone with a bad esn I know it just basically an iPod but will the bad esn (Sprint) be followed when its shipped to Canada and would I be able to use it with a different carrier since there's no sprint in Canada?
