Can I use an at&a sim on a verizon iphone?
I have a desactivate iphone that used to have verizon sim so is it possible to put a an atat sim.
Or should I just buy a cheap phone then put a sim inside?

No you can't. Verizon's iPhones and AT&T's iPhones use different internal hardware to connect to their cell towers so switching SIM cards won't work. The device was specifically made for the carrier it was bought from.
