Can I use an IPhone like an Itouch?
Without service, can I still use the IPhone with like apps and Wi-Fi? Can I use like instagram for example without my verizon service?
Yep! It almost the same except ipod touch can't make calls
Yes all you have to do is to be connected to Wi-Fi and you can still send iMessages and FaceTime an still use apps like Instagram twitter.etc
Yes in theory it is an Ipod touch just with the sim card option so you can get data and calling. Wi-Fi is always accessible on smartphones no matter if the phone has a plan or not.
- What's the difference between iTouch 4G and iPhone 4S? Except the calling feature, Siri, and the A5 chip for the 4S, I think both are the same, and both have the same features.Am I right? I plan to buy the new unlocked iPhone 5s (when it comes out) and at first use it as an iTouch, then in the near future, activate it as a regular iPhone. So, my question is what steps do i need to take to use the iPhone as an iTouch. -I know i have to buy an unlocked iPhone. -but what i don't understand is once i get the phone, do i need a sim card to get it to work?
- How to install a non-compatible iPhone app on iTouch? I downloaded an app which only works on the iPhone (and iPad) and not the iTouch. Is it possible to somehow change it so that it can install on the iTouch? I really want to play it (it's a game) but there's no way I'm gonna go out and buy one of those just so I can play it.
