Can I use any sim to activate/set up straight talk iPhone 5s?
I recently ordered a straight talk iPhone 5s from swappa. I plan to just use it as a Wi-Fi device but my question is, can I use any sim card for the initial set up or does it have to be specifically straight talk sim. Also does the sim have to be activated and working? And after the initial set up and activation can I simply remove the sim card and the phone still work as a Wi-Fi device? Sorry this is my first time buying a phone.

StraightTalk phones are unlocked by default so you can use any SIM card with the phone like if you have T-Mobile then you can use T-Mobile SIM, if you have AT&T then you can use AT&T or whatever your GSM carrier is. You can use a new SIM or you can use activated SIM. You can use the phone with Wi-Fi only, no problem at all.

- How to activate MMS/Data with Straight Talk sim in iPhone 4S? Alright so I have an iPhone 4S which I unlocked because I can use the sim for texting and phone calls but I can't use MMS/Data. Also before you go into the whole sim switch and att.mvno. I can already access the APN settings so I have no need for the sim swap. Also, I've tried SEVERAL of the methods including att.mvno and it didn't work. So first question, is there anyone besides me who can't get any method to work. Two, how did you get you're MMS/DATA to work?

I'm wanting to get a Samsung galaxy s3 and use it on straight talk but I was wondering if I have to buy a new SIM card or can I just use the one that I have been using on my iPhone 4S. And also I'm wanting to do a straight trade for the phone so I was wondering is there anyway I can keep my same number if I won't have both of the phones to transfer the number?
